Annual General Scholarships & Awards

The Annual Scholarships & Awards is our signature event. This event is our greatest achievement to date because there is nothing more rewarding than providing a Scholar the opportunity to continue pursuing their academic career. Congratulations to all of our Scholars, continue to Dream BIG!

Rosalind Pickens Scholarship

The Rosalind Pickens Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior(s) in the National Achievers Society South Florida Center of Excellence that displays a commitment to excellence in service, academic achievement, and leadership. This scholarship is awarded in the memory of dedicated and committed The Miami Achievers Parent Association member, Rosalind Pickens.

A Different World: The College Experience Series

The College Experience Series exposes minority youth to the world of colleges and universities in order to promote increased college attendance among urban youth. These panels allow attendees to get a real outlook on college life inside and outside the classroom from young professionals and current college students.

Holiday Community Programs

D.E.B.S. Foundation celebrates the holiday season by distributing toys and meals to youth and families residing in underserved Miami and Orlando communities.

Back to School Community Programs

D.E.B.S. Foundation has partnered with Miami elementary schools to supply its students with Back to School supplies.
