It’s crazy how fast life is moving for me, I just graduated from UCF (Go Knights!) about a month ago with my bachelors and now I’m 2 weeks into law school at Charlotte School of Law. Moving to North Carolina has been quite an experience and law school is quite the challenge. One piece of advice that I will give to all scholars that would like to pursue a post graduate degree is believe the hype but don’t believe the hype. You know who you are and you know how you work so don’t let others deter your dreams.
Beginning a new chapter in your life is always challenging especially when you’re away from family and friends but it is exciting to go out and meet new people and either start over like some of my classmates are doing (creating a new image for themselves) or continuing your legacy like others. Whatever plan you have for yourself just remember to keep God first & keep your eyes on the prize. No dream is too big or too outrageous to be accomplished. I’ve been told time and time again that if your dreams don’t scare you then they aren’t big enough.
